This absolutely gorgeous robin egg blue enamel and gold fill locket is oval shaped and features a swallow carrying a scroll in its beak surrounded by an intricate golden wreath. In the Victorian era, the swallow symbolized a safe return home, as swallows were known to lead ships into port. It opens to hold two photos, includes both original frames and glass, and pairs perfectly with one of our antique gold fill chains.
